Volunteers are needed to staff a Howard County drop-in center for victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Safe House of Hope, a drop-in center in Baltimore, is partnering with Howard County’s Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center to provide services at the Route 1 Day Resource Center.
The first informational/training meeting will be Wednesday, October 8, 7-9 PM at the Owen Brown Interfaith Center.
Men and women, ages 18 and older, are welcome. No experience is necessary, but training is required. Whatever your passion or skill, there will be a place for you to serve! To learn about Safe House of Hope’s mission and drop-in center services offered, see www.safehouseofhope.org.
