PRE-CONFERENCE

This year Shared Hope is offering pre-conference sessions for registered attendees on November 11, including:

  1. Technical and professional development seminar: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
  2. Six workshop options: 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm  (CLOSED. THESE WORKSHOPS ARE FULL.)
  3. Survivor-only workshops: 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm

WORKSHOP REGISTRATION

Shared Hope's goal is to ensure you have the space to access the workshops you want! This year they require registrants to pre-select their workshops to assist them in the planning process. View the session descriptions before registering. Please note that some workshops are restricted to sworn law enforcement and prosecutors only.


WHAT’S INCLUDED?

The conference registration fee provides access to all pre-conference workshops (lunch on your own), attendance at the main conference, lunch on November 12-13 and access to the networking reception the evening of November 12. Breakfast will not be provided. Attendees must arrange their own transportation to/from the hotel.

HOTEL INFORMATION

Join Shared Hope at the beautiful Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center located in National Harbor, only minutes from D.C. Attendees will enjoy an enhanced conference experience at a larger venue with a four-star hotel package. The Gaylord is situated along the Potomac River, providing gorgeous views of the harbor, access to restaurants, nightlife and shopping areas. Take advantage of special conference pricing of $144/night (+$18 resort fee) and a daily discount on parking.

Rooms are available Tuesday, November 10 through Friday, November 13, with extremely limited availability Tuesday and Friday nights. If you plan to attend pre-conference activities, please review the pre-conference workshops before making travel plans. The agenda was designed to allow attendees the option of traveling the morning of November 11. The Gaylord will honor the special rate (based on availability) for two days following the conference if you would like to stay the weekend in D.C.

There are a variety of transportation options between Washington Reagan National Airport (DCA) and the Gaylord Resort including Uber, taxis and shuttle services. The Gaylord Resort offers departures to/from the airport every 20 minutes through Super Shuttle. You may purchase one-way or roundtrip transportation in advance. Attendees who drive are eligible for a small discount on daily parking at the Gaylord.

**Tuesday night rooms are sold out but there are plenty of rooms for Wednesday- Saturday. You are encouraged to book via the discounted rate at the Gaylord and seek a Tuesday night room elsewhere if needed, or extend your stay at a later date if/when a room opens up. Deposit equal to one night’s stay is required to hold each individual’s reservation. For a full refund, you must notify the hotel three days prior to your arrival.
