Howard police charge two Virginia men with human trafficking, prostitution

After a month-long undercover investigation, Howard County police have charged two Virginia men with human trafficking and two counts of prostitution.

James Michael Warhurst, 32, of Manassas, Va., and Ali Reza Rohanimanesh, 28, of Front Royal, Va., were arrested on Nov. 5 in Laurel.

Beginning in October, police said, Warhurst talked with an undercover detective through social media, offering her a job as an "escort." He continued to tell the detective she would perform sexual acts in exchange for money, with a percentage of the earnings going to him.
