Ohio Man Sentenced To Prison For Human Trafficking

An Ohio man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for human trafficking and prostitution charges.  The Baltimore County State's Attorney's Office says 32-year-old Bennie Veasey was sentenced Monday on charges of trafficking and profiting from prostitution.  Prosecutors say he  forced a 19-year-old woman into prostitution and brought her and another young woman to Towson to sell them for sex last spring.  The victim was found during a sting at a Towson hotel back in April.

Assistant State's Attorney Amanda Walker-Rodriguez says Veasey offered letters from families members to the judge before sentencing. And she says a convicted felon who was Veasey's cell mate also offered testimony about him before the judge handed down the sentence...
