Those who are fighting to stop human sex trafficking in Maryland say stronger laws, tougher sentences and more resources to help victims is what they need to stay ahead of the traffickers.

Victim advocacy organizations are using different media platforms to bring awareness to human sex trafficking including mtvU. The channel of MTV that is geared toward college students has put together a series of Against Our Will public service announcements to bring awareness to sex trafficking. Local organizations like TurnAround hope that if more people are aware that human sex trafficking can happen in every neighborhood in every city in Maryland, more can be done to stop it...
